![]() ![]() The romance was a slow burn trope and it was greatly written. There were some amazing side characters that were very involved in the story and hopefully there is a book 2 for those characters. I also loved Jaewoo who has a hard time loving Jenny and caring for his band mates. ![]() She develops a lot throughout the book by making many new friends and learning about love. The characters were the best part of this book! Jenny is a caring and sweet girl who wants to get out of her comfort zone but her mom wants her to focus on cello. Also the author adds in a lot of Korean words but also explains what they mean which I enjoyed so I can learn more about the culture. I would have read this book in one sitting if I had the time because I just couldn’t stop reading. The story flowed really well and I loved the pacing for this book. How good does this book sound? Its’s a greatly written diverse read! The writing was so good that I was hooked from the first page. ![]() Now Jenny is going to South Korea’s elite school where she learns that Jaewoo goes there and that he is a KPOP star! His name is Jaewoo and he gets her out of her comfort zone until he disappears. This book is about a cellist named Jenny who one day meets a mysterious boy at her uncle’s karaoke bar in LA. Review: I LOVED THIS BOOK! My favorite so far of the year and the month of January. ![]()
